Interview – Yohei Azakami (NURSE)

•  First, please tell us what your impression was when you received the offer to appear in the project.

For starters, Kei Mochizuki-san's illustrations captivated me. As a voice actor, I am highly conscious of a "character's appearance." However, because Mochizuki-san's characters already include Gray Sheep's worldview in their design, I felt I could portray him simply by getting closer to him. I also recall being excited when I saw the names of the other VAs.

• Please tell us what you think about the character you voice.

He is a kind and considerate guy. To put it bluntly, he's a "mom"...! Nurse is that one friend you're grateful to have in your life. I will channel my inner mom and do my best to portray that kind of person!

 

• Please tell us your impressions after recording the drama.

Personally, I was under the impression that Gray Sheep's worldview had a somewhat dangerous tone to it, but at least on GOAT side, there are a lot of scenes where the members banter with each other, so I was able to record the drama part in a relatively bright atmosphere! However, there were also some disquieting scenes, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this story will develop in the future!

• Please tell us your thoughts on recording the song.

「Greatest homie」 is an emotional song of refined taste. It's a difficult song, so I had a hard time getting used to it, but I was the last one to record it, so I was grateful that I was able to record it while listening to the other members sing. It was fun to record and feel as if I was putting the final piece into place!
