Interview – Makoto Furukawa (JUNKY)

• First, please tell us what your impression was when you received the offer to appear in the project.

The first thing that caught my eyewas the unique characters.

Junky, the character I voice, is the best example of that...
I'm interested in exactly what kind of story they're headed towards as well as all the things we still don't know.

 

• Please tell us what you think about the character you voice.

He is, how do I put it, the archetype of insane.
However, even though he appears to be insane, he still seems to have some wit.

Furthermore, I feel he has a lot of untapped potential in areas connected to that unreadable side of his.
I tried voicing him while thinking about that side.

 

• Please tell us your impressions after recording the drama.

The scenario outlined important details, such as Junky's fixation on Snow and the tumultuous relationship between the two teams.
I'm curious about what will happen next since I believe there will likely be a lot of turmoil in the future and that each character will be gradually explored.

• Please tell us your thoughts on recording the song.

Although it's a stylish song similar to dance music, I tried to give it a rowdy vibe that fits Junky's personality. The parts I was given were the most hyped-up, so I believe I was able to express Junky much better.
