Interview – Kentaro Kumagai (AK)

• First, please tell us what your impression was when you received the offer to appear in the project.

The work's worldview and its distinctive characters completely drew me in.

I was rather interested in seeing how AK would fare in the harsh and gloomy world of this work.

 

• Please tell us what you think about the character you voice.

A cool guy who can do anything. I believe that that is traceable to the extraordinary effort he expends that many fail to perceive, though.
Yet, it seems he's not great at cooking, haha.

He's also a Junky apologist, or rather, he loves him. It's difficult to understand because he doesn't get emotional easily, but I get the impression that everything revolves around Junky.

 

• Please tell us your impressions after recording the drama.

We recorded separately this time, so it was fun acting while imagining what would happen with Junky, Neru, and everyone in GOAT. I look forward to the day when I can record with everyone together even more!
 

• Please tell us your thoughts on recording the song.

It was extremely difficult, haha!

Despite my concerns about how AK would handle the song's groove and tension, and whether my portrayal was feasible, I talked with the staff and meticulously recorded the song.
